I need a gaming convention or something. There's a place in Birmingham about an hour from me where I imagine would hold those kind of things. I need to pop my convention cherry. Anime, Game, Pornstar - anything.

It's memory. I know they're in Seattle, because my friend Jessica is with her boyfriend there. I was thinking maybe save money and take a trip there and spend the nights at her place. That way, I could meet at least couple of GR'ians.

Sold out too freaking fast. My friend ended up buying a pass for *each day*. Depending on how things go, I might head down there for a day or so anyway, to say hello etc.

I always say that, though, and never follow through. And I'm so close! With that new bolt bus, I could be there in a couple hours, for a dollar. Hrm.

MattAY, I still can't believe you've never been to a con. Clearly, you should just start one up yourself. Just start showing anime at your place or something, and let it progress from there. Cosplay, cafe...

Unfortunately, I'll be back in Spokane on the other side of the state getting ready for my senior year of college, which starts just after labor day. It's seriously the only reason I haven't gone the last 3 years.
