    i know its a little of topic but for those of you who have seen these series which one do you think is better

    I'm partial to Masters of Horror myself, although I do wish "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" was also on the ballot.

    I hate horror. Especially low-budget, class-less horror.

    I think what Used is referring to is movies like Hostel, where the plot is only there so people won't feel strange about getting a kick out of "torture porn" as it's called.

    Yes, that combined with low production values makes me ill. Hostel did have higher production values, but most of these "8 Films to Die For" style movies have such an amateur look that when combined with the torture porn mentalitly, just makes me feel bad. :(

    Indeed. All these new torture movies are... how would you say? Shit. Oh but for the days when at least some horror movies had brains.

    dude the masters of horror series is written and directed by famous horror movie buffs,,have you ever even seen them , yes they are short stories but come on.......
