Anyone else LOVE cheese?

The girlfriend and I are becoming cheese conoisseurs, every time we go to the grocery store we each pick a new type of cheese to try out, it's kind of our snack for the week. And some delicious crackers, nom nom.

CHEESE IS SO GOOD

Finally got her off eating mild chedder and marble, aka edible plastic.

If anyone else loves cheese, I'm going to the grocery store today and I'd love some suggestions!

Random I know, but cheese does deserve it's own topic.

Jalapeno Jack and Pepper Jack seem to be the perennial favorites in my household.
Sharp cheddar and swiss are fine too. Ever had Mexican cheese? White and soft, very milky and great for dips. Some in my family swear by it, but I can take it or leave it.

I will also say that I often eat pepperjack on sandwiches, and I also really like feta cheese on a salad.

I am a big cheese and crackers guy when it comes to eating snacks. So I tend to get a lot of variety that way.

Im not a huge cheese guy. No bluecheese please.

I like cheese on my pizza. Chili can be good with a little cheese on top. I just dont seem to have the love affair that the advertisements portray the world for having(Maybe im wrong and yall are cheese crazy)

On a sidenote I hate sourcream, mayo, cottage chese, whole tomato, olives, and if I have a choice ill hold the mustard on my burgers and hotdogs. When I make a BLT its just bread lettuce and bacon.

never met such a picky eater that's baked 24/7

when im stoned i'll slap everything together. i made smorewiches once.. i had the ingredients for smores but no graham crackers. so i literally just put the chocolate and marshmallows in between whole grain bread and baked them.. it was delicious.

unfortunately the following day i was in the fetal position with food poisoning. i know it wasnt the smorewiches that caused it, but since they were fresh on my mind the thought of smores now repulses me. which is probably a good thing.

I like cheese, but sometimes, it doesn't like me. Been trying vegan cheeses lately. Don't care too much for the ones that come wrapped in plastic. Pie Pizzeria has a vegan cheese topping that is actually quite awesome.

vegan cheese, sounds interesting.

i had one of those babybel things the other day, it was sooo awful. couldn't finish it.

I work in a restaurant, and all we have is chedder-jack, swiss, provolone and american. plus feta and blue cheese. I like provolone, pepper-jack and colby best.

I can't find it in myself to buy $7 goat cheese, even thought many of the high-end cheeses are tasty!

cheese doesn't sit well in my system so I tend not to eat it a lot

however I am more than happy to deal with the intestinal pain for either pepper jack or parmesan

Gouda is the best cheese.

Take a chicken breast, butterfly it, tightly wrap gouda and bacon inside, then batter in buttermilk/egg and breadcrumbs and deep fry...YUM!

We called them Hillbilly Cordon Bleu's.

I only like cheese when it's melted. It's horrible when it's cold. One of my weird quips ;)

Another one - I hate all condiments.

im similar in the condiment department, they overpower delicious food. when someone dumps a bottle of ketchup on home made mac n cheese, or a stew, or anything like that, i die inside.

the only thing i like condiments on is sausages, hotdogs, and hamburgers, and even then it's very sparingly.

as for the cheese, we just got back from gettin groceries. i picked some 2 year old irish cheddar cheese, super fancy schmancy looking. she got roasted tomato havardi.

the selection was weak, half the selection was cheddar. gonna do our cheese shoppin elsewhere :p

Whenever I hear cheese connoisseur, I remember the time my friend and I made grilled cheeses with his mom's super-expensive fancy cheese. It was for a party so she was pissed. And it tasted like crap so I felt like I did her guests a favor.

All cheese tastes worse on a grilled cheese sandwich. You probably wasted some amazing stuff.
