Bayonetta is an interesting, if not slightly controversial choice. She is a sexually suggestive character by nature, probably toned down for Smash though. She also uses guns. Like, guns that shoot bullets. This nitpick is being raised because when Snake was revealed for Smash Bros. Brawl, Nintendo explained that he would not use guns as they are too realistic and violent.
As for Corrin, no idea who they are. Corrin is a character who can be male or female, and is yet another sword wielding character from Fire Emblem. A lot of people are over sword wielding characters already, so here's another one to add fuel onto their fire.

Bungie has introduced more microtransactions to Destiny. Now players can enhance their levels by buying "level packs" and you guessed it - they're expensive as shit.
Bandai has announced that next year, they'll be releasing a new Gundam game, Gundam Breaker, to PS4 and PS Vita. Look, I won't lie, it looks like crap, but I'm not a fan of those Japanese style arcadey action games, but hey, the Japanese love it -

And apparently (as reported by Japanese website Nikkei), Kojima has finally left Konami and will be starting his own studio with Sony! Is this true? No idea, because a Tweet from Gamespot claims this report is based off a mistranslation and that Nikkei did not report this. How much do you think Konami is paying Gamespot?
