1 and 2 were my absolute favourites. 3 not so much, it had a good story but was way too action oriented.
I prefer to pretend #4 never existed.

By the way, I am a huge Silent Hill fan, as well as a huge fan of the whole genre. I love the Fatal Frame games as well, and despise Resident Evil
