In the early years I Think pornography is a negative influence. Since I was beating off to a porn star nearly every night back then I kinda expected women I wanted to sleep with to look like that. It wasn't until many years later that I truly realized that an awesome personality is far more satisfying than good looks. Of course, good looks never hurt...

Of course I always said looks didn't matter, but honestly think I cared about looks more than anything else until I about my 23rd or 24th birthday. Pornography may be to blame for that one.

Then again that is one of those things I would never know the truth about. Maybe I would have thought the same even if there wasn't pornography due to my inexperience with women in my younger years.

Bigger hips (still) mean easier time carrying that baby, and bigger breasts mean an easier time feeding that thing. So, big hips and boobs=easier for your genetic material to survive. And I've heard a hypothesis that men are attracted to boobs, because, have you ever noticed that boob cleavage and butt cleavage are similar? Men are attracted to butts (because as mammals, its what we see during sex). The boobs attract mates by looking like another butt. A front-butt, if you will.

Regarding what FrozenBacon said, I think most modern males eventually wise up and understand that women they have sex with (or will be having sex with) are not like the women they see in internet porn. At least, I hope.

As for the effect porn has on culture: I'm willing to bet that there are very large amounts of high school and college aged males--sexually active males--who think that the natural conclusion to intercourse is to pull out and ejaculate on their partner's face. And why wouldn't they? It's been the natural conclusion of every porn video they've ever seen, so why wouldn't people do it that way? I wonder if this is causing lots of young peoples' first sexual encounters to be even more awkward and stressful than they should be. So...stories, anyone? Hey, maybe that's the reason teenage pregnancies are declining!


(P.S. Teen pregnancies really are declining, and I would not be surprised at all if this is at least part of the reason)
