Uh, there is one. It's called click quote, Ctrl + C, back, click quote, Ctrl + V.

But really, the reason I say that is it would take a lot of work from the code monkeys for a feature that we don't need at all, since we can pretty much already do it. There's so many better things that they could devote their time to. Like a better front page layout. Or bringing back the black.
