Never heard of Phantasm II. And Drag me to Hell was awesome, screw you madster.

I actually hate gory movies. It's not that I can't take the violence, they're just not scary. Trying to be gross isn't exactly what I would call terrifying. Movies that are WTF on the psychological scale are more my type of horror. Like Jacob's Ladder, the movie that inspired Silent Hill, the scaritest horror game ever made.

Each decade definitely has it's own style of horror. I love 70's and 80's horror. But the 90's became to based around SFX.

We watched some Poltergeist and it was awesome.
