Mainly because the last one was more manga than anime.

And so I can mention Baccano! in a thread where it belongs, as it's nothing short of amazing (And I've only seen two episodes of it).
Also that after finishing Gurren Lagann, I can truly agree that it's the king of space battles/mecha. And if you thought it was illogical in the first half... Some truly crazy shit goes down in the second.

I watched Fairy Tail not long ago, to be honest it's gotten a bit boring now. But the first episode contained one of the best anime punches I've ever seen!

Yeah... I hate that the term "bromance" was applied to it. =\ Come on, that's ALL some people could say about it? Jeez... Kills me.
It's a manga, but it just got made into a 12 ep anime series by Funimation. All viewable on YouTube. I haven't read the manga, sadly.

Man i think i may have caught the anime bug.

I'm currently watching Initial D (amazing btw) for the first time in a very long ass time. I caught the first stage back some 5-6 years ago but couldnt get my hands on the later stages, but now that i have some decent internet, i've been dling it all and watching it. Now that i'm almost done with it im looking into some animes from my childhood days like bubblegum crisis and ghost in the shell.

I was never really a weeabo and obsessed over this shit like you guys, but for some reason i cant help but shake this feeling.
