It is a crime (500) days of summer did not get nominated for BEst Orginal Screenplay.

Jospeh Gordon-Levitt was also great in taht... but an oscar nom is even more of a long shot. Matt Damon had a better perfromance in The Informant! than he did in Invictus.

Darn it... another cool indie film being overshadow by a big budget film...

After watching District 9 for a second time I wonder why Sharlto Copley wasn't nominated for best actor...IMO he nailed his character and was pretty amazing throughout the film.
