I don't think that people who listen to emo should be stereotyped into a catagory of depressed little teenagers. I like some emo, and I love my life. Underoath could be classified as emo music, right? Well, they are christians, and I highly doubt that they are depressed and suicidal.

I've heard it said that suicide is nature's way of weeding out the weak. In this particular case... I have to agree.

Would you care to expand your ideas or just keep them as moronic as they are right now?

Firstly, there's a lot of 'emo' people on myspace, but there is an ungodly amount of 'preppy' people and pretty much every category out there. There's probably not even a majority emo, they're just not as low profile being they express themselves in such a way where they stand out.

And dont' worry, emo will run its course and die just like everything else. Then something worse will come around.

^ i was just kidding when i said yes to the emo question, i actually think everyone that goes to myspace is a little stupid, because i don't see the "novelty" in spending most of your life glued to the computer chair looking at profiles. I'm sure there are the fair share of every genre of people on myspace, but i guess i'm just doing what StalfrosCC said and using the word "emo" like the word "stupid".

Commiting suicide is probably the most selfish thing you could ever do to your family. It's like saying they weren't good enough and that it's their fault.

So you could be all pissy and commit suicide because you can't take the heat or you could try to make something good come out of life.

You're damn right, it's annoying because for the longest time I just assumed it was a stupid American version of the word.

This was a life, no less valid than yours, with a family, now humiliated and devastated, and friends also depressed.
And you guys are mocking him and giving him a label (emo) which all of you have somehow given a negative status. No one seems to care.

I've always believed emotion to be an amazing thing, one of the pros to having a brain, so now I'm debating which is worse. A guy bursting with emotion or an emotionless over-opinionated GR.

And I just know that someone will ridicule this message.

/\ I'm really very tempted to but only because I'm naturally argumentative. In reality I agree with all of that.
