Pop up ads.

I know that to maintain this site running free(of both Dbags and a reoccurring cost) you guys have a lot of ad space to sell. I respect that. But here lately there have been a couple ads ( a Wii one comes to mind) that pop out of their respected boxes and stretch across the screen. Now ive found here lately that even if i click really far away from where the ad image is, i still get dragged into whatever the ad is in a nother tab. I know this is YOUR site and that those ads probably pay good money, but neway to work this problem out?

There is some sort of popup sometimes.
My popup blocker records one or two now and then while I am on this site.
And the ads are rather random for me.
Most of them are regional, but it is a complete mix, I have seen ads for sextoys and casino..
And flashing: YOU HAVE WON banners that would giive most a seizure.
Never clicked on them, they look suspicious spyware like :)

Im not talking about the simple banners, those are fine, im talking about the ones that have animations that stretch out of their damn windows like halfway down the page. And they have a 'x' u can click to close but when i click it i just get sent to the site. It just gets really frustrating

yeah, that happened to me a couple times as well. i think it's one of the circuit city ads that is doing it.

E-yup. considering Circuit city will go under soon....
Every time I've gone in to a Circuit City, it's been crowded.

We used to have about 8 here in the Saint Louis area, now we have 2. The one next door to my workplace set what must have been a record: of all the games they advertise on sale this week, they had about 2 in stock. I do these things for fun.

I also hate that banner ad for "the best smileys on the net" where the emoticon yells "Hellllooooooo!!" into my speaker. No sound in ads, please.
