Yeah, the people that are doing them look so fucking depressed. I just can't join them. Instead, I've managed to do all the editing on my recording session from earlier this semester. Now I just have to mix it. I probably won't get to that until after Hawaii though. I'll even post it here for you guys to see.

One time, I put 100 bucks into the slots and left with 5000 dollars. Which is the money I have been living off of since. Just saying.

Though I do absolutely have a gambling problem. My parents got a "learn Vegas gambling" game when I was 6 years old and I played it so damn much. I learned how to play everything from slots to Texas Hold Em to roulette from that game. And I haven't been in a casino in almost a year. That's a new record for me!

I still bet on football games, but that doesn't count. Everyone has their vice, and gambling is mine.

I've actually heard that the slots in the Vegas airport are set up to win at a higher percentage than in the casinos to get you to stick around Vegas and blow your money in the casinos.

Millions of people from Ontario to Newfoundland have no power, heat or water. Luckily I'm not one of them. All flights are cancelled in Eastern Canada and we're being urged to stay indoors due to slippery roads that have become skating rinks, downed power lines and trees collapsing due to being coated in thick ice. Last night the ice coated branches on the trees were breaking off, it sounded like people were chopping down trees.

I am so tempted to strap on my skates and go skating down the roads right now.
