Name the Videogame Character

Not Mechwarrior. Not Metal Gear. Not Metroid Prime.

Also... not a really popular game, but in a popular series. Its funny- the group on the other forum got this one almost right away and had issues with the guy from Soldier of Fortune.
 
Probably some lame thing from Starcrat or C&C. Stal, start making your own silhouettes. That should be interesting.
 
I said it wasn't Starcraft and it isn't C&C.

Another hint- It is from an FPS Franchise that is HUGE, however this incarnation of it wasn't really that great.
 
The game came out in 2006.

Honestly, I'd have never guessed this; however the "character" in question is on the front of the game box. Lets just say it is more of a vehicle than a character.

Yeah, I'm trying to think up good stuff, but my mind keeps coming back to Metal Gear Solid. A disease? Maybe. A problem? Hell no.
