ubi soft intends to sue something awful, due to a poster at their forums creating a sexual comic of jade raymond blowing someone to get them to play assassins creed

while I havent seen the comic, I find it hilarious they're going to go through with the lawsuit, and its their fault,that's what you get for whoring out her face every opprotunity you get "lookz, we haves the girl gamer, she be cute, buy our product"

Yeah, I saw that. And laughed. It was pretty damn funny actually. I do agree with you about how Ubi were\are pushing her center stage just for marketing. That being said, she hasn't given any indication (that I know of) that she isn't actually an important member of the team.

I don't know Jade Raymond well, but I do know she has a programming background, and worked as a developer on the original Everquest.

I would like to say that the above comic is pretty tasteless. While many gamers have had fantasies like that (probably more so about Ed Boon or John Carmack), it doesn't necessarily need to be in "print", so to speak.

Really, all it does is show the lack of creativity. There are many, many ways to jab Ubisoft for Assassin's Creed or their whoring of Jade Raymond, but I mean come on. That's a bit ridiculous.

Personally I hope she wins. The internet would be better without crap like the ass clown who made that.

It sucks to be her right now, as she hasn't really done anything wrong, but the company is getting what it deserves. They have completely whored her around for publicity, and the comic is representative of that, whether it is "classy" or not.

The only thing she is guilty of is being an attractive woman in an industry run by socially inept men. While i am against legal action in this case I do believe the person who created it and anybody thinking that it is "art" or "smart commentary" is pretty unintelligent.

theresnno doubt she's talented, I never would once say otherwise, assassins creed, despite being horribly flawed, is still a well made game, and she was at the head for producing it

but no one can denye she's whored out to the public by ubisoft, i wont go as far as others have to claim she's in the position she holds because of her looks, but I do find it tasteless how most of the advertising campaigns for the game at shows, involve her in a tank top and showcasing the game, none of the other male leads are doing it
