...how the heck do you beat reed?!?!

i know i made a mistake in not doing enough side missions, and im out of shotgun ammo, but theres got to be a way. ive tried fire arrows neds rifle but i cant do it, please help

lure him to the geysers and shoot the geysers with fire arrows, it may take some time, but its worth it in the end.

lol never mind, i finally got him, for some reason he stopped moving, so i put a couple of bullets from neds rifle in his head, thnx for responding though
