I'm sorry, I should have said 'other than Eve Online, too.' because I'm far too stupid to play a game that is so indept and time consuming. Are there any single-player Eves?

If you can find it, you could also try X2 - The Threat. It's like Freelancer, but it is less 'arcade'. The controls are different, and you can do quite a bit more than in Freelancer.

I played Freelancer back when it came out. It was a cool game, although it felt like it coulda used a few more months in the oven.
