200 Billion robbery in EVE Online

Eve is a strange place, quite unlike any other MMO ive ever seen, although that dosent necessarily translate to being good or bad. It does indeed involve quite a bit of work, but 'Work" and "grinding" are different things. If you let it, the game will suck you in to an unbelievable degree. Since everyone's on one server, its really like joining a new universe, where your actions may be remembered for ages, rather than just lost when you shift to a different server....the epic collapse of the BoB evil empire (self styled) by betrayal is an event thats gonna be passed on to generations of Eve players.

Eh, it might be a good bit of ISK, but it's nothing compared to GoonSwarm's takeover of Band of Brothers, which won them trillions in ISK, trillions more in assets, and broke apart the one of the most powerful empires the game had ever seen. It also lacks the flair of the Guiding Hand hit, the storytelling prowess of the Great Scam's Nightfreeze, or the sheer audacity of the Alliance Tournament assassination. Still, it's cool that he did something useful with the cash, not to mention getting himself banned from an addictive and time consuming hobby.
