Ah GR, where forum posts were/are proto-Reddit points.

This reminds me of way back when, probably ten years ago or more, when GR forums allowed users to delete their own posts. Thinking I was clever, I got up one morning before school, and, in order to "boost" my numbers, I would create a dummy thread, spam post as much as my precious 256kb connection would allow, and then delete the thread before I got caught.

It was too bad Ted Wolfe (silentplayer) caught me right away, but he was nice enough not to ban me.
