Well all you really need is to buy a tank for the snake to live in.. and stuff for the snake habitat. Plus food, pinky mice when they are smaller and move up to bigger mice or whatever. They require a lot of care and they should be a tame snake. Tanks can go really cheap or quite expensive, and...

Not really no, it's the quietest snake. I'm not really scared of it but sometimes when i'm holding it, it will constrict me pretty tightly. The only time it opens it's mouth is when it eats.
