So I've wanted to do this for a while now, but I've been busy with school. Since the summer has commenced and I'm not working, I think it's time I get this thing under way.
Welcome to the First Annual Video Game Character Showdown! (unless someone has done it before me)
I have a few rules before we commence, but I do think they're too mean. If you are unclear at all, don't hesitate to ask.:
1) Pick 8 Video Game characters from any game. If the same character represents multiple games, just write the series (ex: Link from the Zelda series, not Link from OoT). Please do this for every character, even obvious ones. It will make my life easier.
2) The competition is for Video Game characters ONLY. What this means is that the character must be exclusively in video games, or was made famous through video games (ex: Max Payne). Characters such as Darth Vader, Spiderman, or Homer Simpson are NOT welcome, as they are primarily characters from other media, but just have video games. The character must have originally starred in a video game. Pokémon are welcome (if there was any confusion about that).
3) No M.U.G.E.N characters, for the same reason
4) The character DOES NOT have to be playable, nor do they have to be the main character of a story. Get creative, but don't get ridiculous.
5) In the case of a tie, I will have the tiebreaker vote.
I plan to have 128 combatants, but we'll see how many nominations we get.

Kratos (God of War series)
Mewtwo (Pokémon series)
Amaterasu (Okami)
Daxter (Jak and Daxter series)
Jack (Harvest Moon series)
Geno (Super Mario RPG)
Read the rules before posting, as I don't want to correct anyone who puts down Vader or Goku. Other than that, you guys know how this is done.
