Winter cocktails

Anybody have any favorite holiday/winter cocktails or spirits? Favorite winter beers welcome as well.

This winter I've been making a lot of "wooly mittens."

Take a mug (biggest mugs you have, or else they're wicked strong - to avoid that, gimp the size of the shots if you must)
Pour contents of instant cocoa mix (I use Nestlé)
Fill half way with boiling water
Add a shot of Baileys
Shot of Southern Comfort
Between a splash and a shot of Peppermint Schnaps
Fill rest of way with boiling water
Top with whipped cream (homemade if possible)

I made a variation of a candy cane martini.

It was 1.5 oz vodka, 1.5 oz peppermint schnapps, 1.5 oz. heavy cream, .5 oz of creme de menthe shaken over ice and strained into a chilled martini glass with a peppermint candy sitting at the bottom.

Those "wooly mittens" of yours sound reeeally yummy. I usually just enjoy coffee with Bailey's and whipped cream when it's chilly out.
