Unacceptable advert

This really is a bit silly. I've never got up in arms about GR becoming more and more engaged in corporate bondage. Hell, I don't even complain about the full other page gambling ads it opens occasionally, but after waiting a week to see if this goes of its own accord, I can't put up with the 'What's the best way to spend 10 pound?' T-mobile advert any longer.

On the homepage, it's a side advert that should be contained to the little box it's designated, but leaps out and covers the relevant part of the page for about 6 seconds, meaning I cant click anything. Say i want cheats, I go to the homepage. Wait for the advert to get out the way. Go to cheats. Wait for the advert to get out the way again. Go to xbox 360...You see where I'm going with this.

I'd really like it dealt with as I'm simply having to read elsewhere, because this advert is making it unmanageable.

As Maca helpeth me, so shalt I help you.

Got Firefox? ............now? Okay. Download Adblock and Filterset.G

I used to have problems like this with those friggen Circuit City ads at the top of the page that extend every time you mouse over them.

I simply don't understand how you can whine about this when you KNOW there are adblockers and scriptblockers. It's been mentioned time and time again...

Everyone gets adblockers, ads stop being clicked (both accidentally and purposefully), GR/Crave makes no money, GR stoops to selling all adspace for one week to Activision, newest Activision game gets the coveted A+!

Can't wait! :p

Well then nothing's stopping us from just opening IE and clicking all the adverts for 8 hours. ;)

the red square is about how much it blocks click wise...And as you scroll up or down it comes with it, so you know. Quite a big section of the page you cant navigate for a while each load.

I still remember the join the army adverts on this site years ago. They were similar to that. Or am I remembering right? Can't remember.

^Same now. The second i turned it off to take that a big euro online casino page opened in a tab. Not a popup, whole different tab...also minimises the Firefox window.
