The TV Showdown - It's All Over!

Phoenix
Mac

Seriously...Mac is total badass. Watch a few episodes of the Unit where he's the main focal point and you'll see.

Haven't watched CSI: MyamithesameaseveryotherCSI show, so no vote.

Actually....I will vote because I know CSI Miami is more of the same and I watched Batman as a little kid and loved it.

Batman.

Maj. Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan
Nancy Botwin
Nina Myers
James "Sawyer" Ford
Mack 'Dirt Diver' Gerhardt

CSI: Miami

Hurley
Nancy
The Joker - Cesar Romero totally owned that character

Batman - only because CSI: Miami is the worst show on TV.

I have to agree. Or it's at least the worst that I've seen that has gotten into this showdown. I loved this batman show growing up, I really hope it wins.

I blame David Caruso or at least the people who chose to make him act like that.

That's my primary beaf. That and it often just seems like its a really obviously sex'ed up version of the more geeky original CSI.

The original CSI is a pretty fun show, with likeable characters. I don't watch it anymore because I prefer shows with ongoing storyline. Some shows mix the two really well, like Dexter and Supernatural...infact Supernatural has pretty much perfected the "freak of the week" genre while Dexter...well Dexter's just perfected television.

Maj. Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan - M*A*S*H
The Phoenix - X-men (1992 Animated)
The Doctor - Doctor Who (2005)
The Joker - Batman (1966)
Mack 'Dirt Diver' Gerhardt - The Unit

Batman (1966)

Match 30 is over

Hugo "Hurley" Reyes (Lost) defeats Maj. Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan (M*A*S*H) 8 - 4
The Phoenix (X-men 1992 Animated) defeats Nancy Botwin (Weeds) 8 - 5
The Doctor (Doctor Who - 2005) defeated Nina Myers (24) 6 - 5
The Joker (Batman 1966) defeated James "Sawyer" Ford (Lost) 8 - 5
Mack 'Dirt Diver' Gerhardt (The Unit) defeated Kakashi (Naruto) 7 - 4

Batman (1966) defeated CSI: Miami 11 - 3

We now have to say goodbye to Hot Lips, Nancy Botwin, and three characters I really like, Nina, Sawyer and Kakashi. But it's all okay because we eliminted CSI Miami. Yay.

My Votes:

Walker
Basil
Kelso
Wolverine
Moss

Fullmetal Alchemist

This has got some really interesting battles. Basil vs Jerry? I think I know how this is going to end...and by a landslide but for people who have seen both shows will have a tough choice to make. It's always interesting to see characters from the same show to battle, and I know JD loves Wolverine so all the scrubs characters are in for a tough battle.

And FMA vs Lost? That's a really tough one. I couldn't easily decide so I went for the underdog. FMA has always surprised me, the art style and character designs say kids-show but the plot developments and dark storylines scream mature anime. You really have to have seen it, at least the first 10 eps to really understand. I highly recommend it. Lost on the other hand is also awesome, but most of you already know that. I know a lot of people dropped off early in season 3, but the last few eps of that season and the entire of season 4 really picked up the pace again. It helped that the Season 4 final had one of the most intense fight scenes I've ever seen on TV.

Walker
Jerry
Turk
J.D
Moss

Lost. It's seriously one of the few shows I have faith in right now on primetime TV to deliver a good story, plus it's a great Sci-Fi/Fantasy Thriller to boot.
