I'm so old. This is what I watched as a wide eyed kid.
That is old. Before he became an attorney even.
More old cartoons.
I used to watch re-runs of Underdog every morning as a kid. I loved that show. And it had the best intro ever.
It was so good in fact, that the Wu Tang Clan sampled it for a song. And as you may or may not know, the Wu Tang Clan ain't nothing to fuck with.
I wonder if Hanna-Barbera knows that Marvel copied Multi-Man a decade later with Mulitple-Man.
And here's someone else who ain't nothing to fuck with,
Didn't Plastic Man also predate Reed Richards? Or was that the other way around?
Yeah, Plastic Man has about twenty years on Richards, but if Marvel borrowed anything it was just the stretchability factor. Plastic Man is a product of the early Golden Age. Meaning a character could get new powers almost weekly based on what the writers needed to drive or solve a plot.
Thankfully, characters that survived into and past the Silver Age would often get ret-conned to ground their powers and abilities a bit. Superman used to be able to change his appearance at will and punch planets out of orbit.
He still can, all he has to do is put his glasses on. 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0B1ufyXOds
