Ah damn looks like Solo's going to lose. I think Han defines everything that was great about the original trilogy and missing from the prequals.

Anakin and Han are both bad asses, but Anakin is very emo and whiney while Han is much more laid back.
Anakin's love story is sappy and overdone. Han's love story is subtle and fun...example:

Anakin Skywalker: "You are so...beautiful." Padmé Amidala: "It's only because I'm so in love."
Anakin Skywalker: "No, it's because I'm so in love with you."
