I'm surprised so many people liked Civ III better than Civ II. Civ III was my least favorite, as it took forever to play one map (granted I usually do gigantic maps). That was my favorite change in Civ IV, still great gameplay but you could actually take over the world in a day or two.

hmmm, kinda lame how pc only gets 3 slots, when encompasses a time period way longer than the othere consoles, which get 3 slots as well.

maybe divide pc into a couple generations mirroring the other consoles, each generation getting 3 slots?

Well, the top 20 is where the most points come to play.

The top 3 slot can really help a game move it's way up but they can get overpowered by games that appear on top 20 lists.

It's also a useful tool when people get to the top 20 list. By that point they'll have named their favorite games so it shouldn't be as difficult to make a list.
