Anyone else tired of hearing the Mario theme?

Because after viewing all these wacky 15-year olds/college kids you will be too.

I think that about covers every major instrument.

Is it too much to ask for something new? Does anyone else get tired of hearing this over and over again? Do you think in 10-15 years games like Halo or Metal Gear will become trendy/chic? I propose the Zelda theme become the new fad in the meantime. Start with this:

Yes to Halo and Metal Gear.

And no to getting tired of hearing the theme, thats why it's so good, it is played constantly.

Dude, the MGS theme rules.
Halo, not so much.
JUST LIKE THE GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I've been sick of the mario theme for a long time.

I wasn't talking about the themes, necessarily, I was talking about the games.

Put it this way: If you made Mario "?" boxes and strung them up around downtown/college campus/ your school, you would automatically be totally cool and trendy (People actually do this. Google it if you don't believe me). If you walked around with a big "!" or "?" over your head and said "Who's footprints are these?" you would be a total balls-to-the-wall nerd who would never get laid.

Well, when you paste links to 8 different videos featuring people playing the same song, yeah it does get kind of tired.

Thats why i find stuff like this, this and this more funny than this

Thread starts off sounding elitist. Then 180's into "Please accept me" land.

I'm really not sure where this is going. If you have a problem with a majority identifying a certain game, tough. If you care what others think because you're familiar with more than an Italian caricature, then stop.

Video games have become mainstream. With it comes certain negatives. It's no different than any other sub-culture in our society to have gotten this far in the eyes of the public. This includes virginity based insults based upon knowledge of something not advertised night and day to the average person.

That Dead Rising spoof is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Thef irst three were just stupid, they were just acting like idiots in public. The last one was funny, though.

You've got to realise, the Mario theme was burned into the minds of sooooooo many people in to late 1980s it's BOUND to have a long-term effect.
