You should watch more TV. Animated comedies are funny and enjoyable but they are far from the best thing on TV.

I would of loved to see Arrested Development up there, one of the smartest comedies ever. But Dexter is still around and is one of the best shows on TV filled with strong characters. The Simpsons is here because of it's history, a great show far past it's prime. But that's okay, we're not voting on a show based on the most recent episode but a series as a whole.

(plus the simpsons will prolly win anyway, at least my two fav shows are in the finals)
 
The Apple episode was genius yes. This season really isn't that bad but it doesn't excuse the numerous mediocre seasons I'm afraid :(.
