The 5 stages of grief

1) Denial
There's no way this happened. There was a mix up. It's George W Bush all over again this thing was rigged.

2) Anger
What the fuck is wrong with you Americans? Half of you idiots didn't even vote. You did this to yourselves!

3) Bargaining
This will be ok. He'll have an administration who will make sure he doesn't blow up Canada because Justin Trudeau made fun of his hands.

4) Depression
Oh who am I kidding. I don't even wanna go to the US anymore. There was so much I wanted to see; I wanted to go to Vegas, Hawaii, NYC again. But what's the point?

5) Acceptance
Ah well. At least it's not Kanye.

I'm currently in Vegas.

It's cool because you can drink in public. But everything is x2 more expensive and it's shit.
So don't bother.

No doubt everything is super expensive and the casinos are there to drain you of every last cent. But it just looks like so much gosh darn fun. Also it's friggin freezing here so I could use some of that sunshine.

But yeah the Donny boy just kinda hit me today. Also I see people on Facebook who support this clown and it makes my head hurt. :( There was even a Trump supporter who said I wouldn't understand because I'm "dating a muslim". My gf was actually raised Catholic and we're both Christian (more like agnostic but still spirtual I guess). But she looks Indian so she must shout Allah Ackbar on a prayer rug amrite? ....Fuck man.

Yeah, and there's nothing worse than Canadians who support that type of ideology and approach to things, especially in a social societal aspect. I've seen groups on facebook, man. But seriously, it's sickening.

And not to derail too much, but wtf is with everyone being in Vegas these couple weeks? I know at least three groups/couples (who do not know each other, I'll add) all going/gone to Vegas. I'm hurt that no one asked me. I've never been. But I would probably go there and just do nothing.

Back on track: lots of people feel you on this issue. I'm glad to hear a lot of stories about people fighting back. This past week or so especially, hearing stories of constituents standing up to their members of Congress and holding them accountable has been kind of amazing. It can be pretty violent out there, but I'm hoping the right voices get through. Particularly in this climate, the regular day-to-day nice people are all heroes in my books.

Disregard this. I won a lot of money and then spent it all on fancy drinks and buffets. I left with the same amount of money I came with. GJ me.

I blame Alberta.

And Newfoundland.
