Modern Warfare 3 debut

So I already know that COD isn't exactly viewed as great as I view it on this forum but I will admit I enjoy the COD games even though the general masses ruined it for everyone. Honestly I pissed by that because when COD 1-3 were out only fans of the series played (to my knowledge) then 4 came out which was awesome but the general masses quickly came into the picture and created a stereotype of COD players. But that's just my opinion, I loved MW 1 & 2, Black Ops didn't turn out bad like I thought it was gonna be but I like MW2 better. I'm excited (but not surprised) for the third, a debut teaser was released for which I've watched visually but never heard the audio because I'm in a dorm at the moment which means a loud surrounding and I have no headphones on me.

From what I could gather you're in NY this time, so yeah...... Anybody has a smidgen of excitement for MW3 or no

No. I'm not the least bit excited for this. I say that because I refuse to get my hopes up for another game made by Infinityward. Also, I wasn't excited for Black Cops, but it turned out to be my favorite one. So as long as I have no positive expectations for MW3, it can only be better than what I expected it to be, right?

...It can rot in hell if it has Stopping Power, though.

I'll admit that I'm mildly excited. As disjointed and broken as MW2's multiplayer is, I still had more fun in it than I have had in Blops.

Oh yeah, and bring back the fucking quickscoping.

I hate the people that can do it, but it's still a genuine way to play and requires you to not be shit.

Here's a prediction. It'll be just like all the rest of the Call of Duty games with a few minor additions and a 3 hour story. Sounds like a time and a half.

This!

I wonder if Kotick ever saw my letter...

I think I'm moving back to the Battlefield franchise once Battlefield 3 comes out. I've got a little Call of Duty overload and I really don't like Black Ops that much and that really did it for me. Also, multi-player sucked for Modern Warfare 2 on PC. Hackers like you would not believe.

Battlefield 3 baby! That's what has my attention. All my friends are Cod whores, though. I can never get anyone to play BC2 with me. :(

The new one looks SO AWESOME I had to put in all caps to demonstrate my excitement, which I have more excitement for BF3 than MW3. Now that I think about it I may have spent more time playing BFMC2, BFBC 1 & 2 online all together than all the time I've spent playing COD MW 1-2, WAW and Blops online..... Well maybe not but BFBC 2 was one of the most fun multiplayers I've recently played. Proves you don't need killstreaks to have intense battles. BFBC 2 was just so good but suffered from something I call Team Fortress syndrome. 8/10 times you join a game that your team is losing so bad rape is a understatement and 2/10 times is a normal game or your team is doing the "raping". Well BFBC 2 didn't suffer as much but I did notice the trend occurring in it as well.

Also
Sledgehammer Games will assist in the development of the singleplayer, and Raven Software will develop the multiplayer.[21] The game is said to have been in development since only two weeks after the release of their previous game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.[21] Sledgehammer is aiming for a "bug free" first outing in the Call of Duty franchise, which also sets a goal for Metacritic review scores above 95 percent.
This is from wikipedia so a chance that it's not true but apparently no IW involvement, can be false though

I remember Bad Company 1s multiplayer being pretty bloody awesome, but with too large maps for so few people.

I did play the Demo a hell of a lot, though.

I'm going to buy CoD used so Activision doesn't get my money, then I'm going to play through the single player campaign and enjoy it as a Michael Bay/Tom Clancy war porn fluff story, play five rounds of online, then return it to Gamestop and put the money towards a good game.

I dont even play CoD and Im sick of Modern Warfare!

I enjoyed Black Ops though, gun game and co-op zombies I liked more than anything else in the series.
