The old Xbox 360 dashboard. I might be beating a dead horse with a thing that I know will never come back, but I still miss it. It was a lot better than the new dashboard which is really just trying to be a vertical PS3 menu with Miis.

What things about gaming that are no longer around anymore do you miss?

Blowing cartridges when they dont work...rubbing a disc just isnt the same!

And the reset button on consoles!

Floppy discs B:\ that you could bend, even though you were not suppose to.

I got bored the other weekend and decided to give Chrono Trigger a go through.

What I miss is knowing that at one point, that was top of the line graphics. I know graphically we have gotten much better. Even with 2d side scrollers like Braid were gorgeous. But I miss 16-bit pixels.

I like the new dashboard, I just want to be able to remove more of the things I don't use.

I miss the majority of FPS and other action titles being more single player oriented.

I've seen that already, but it doesn't change the fact that there is no release date yet....or the fact that I miss it...I miss the game where you could turn your brain off and just focus on the nirvana of blowing up a wave after wave of monsters, never having to encounter the "you need the blue key to enter this room", or some other silly puzzles...Serious Sam in a nutshell? KILL SHIT, RELOAD, AND KILL SOME MORE SHIT!!!

I miss the time when you could proudly display your cd / dvd / game boxes.
I still prefer the tangible version over downloaded versions, legit or not.
