Important thing to remember here; if it's a hipster song it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be a guilty pleasure. Take this song for example, it has the most retarded lyrics ever but it's just too damn catchy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgBeu3FVi60
Well played. I don't quite know what falls into the hipster category. Do they need ironic facial hair? Vests? Or work boots?
Matt and Kim's fun. Silly. Upbeat. The true nature of the best hipster song can't really be relayed to you here, though, because it's so inorganic, you know? You'd have to experience the spontaneous outburst of song to really feel it. I've been into Of Monsters and Men lately. Because Iceland, amirite? They're indie, so I guess they can be hipster for this purpose.
We all have our guilty pleasures, you pretend like you don't but that's the biggest hipster thing you could possibly do.
Thanks. I'm serious about Of Monsters and Men, though. And Iceland. I have a thing for Iceland. You probably don't want to know.
If I suggested a hipster song, it would just be brought to discussion of why that song was suggested by me.
My guilty pleasure? Stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PANEcjhSfv4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhr5UBZh1rY http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=vvKl8ZMQqFU Not that crap. Besides, Wicked, you're already the second biggest hipster here. Why would listening to hipster music be a guilty pleasure for you?
Anything by lights. As much as I like lights. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUwjWDZo ... plpp_video or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU9-TRVb ... plpp_video or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOU0ZGif ... plpp_video
