I watched The Hunger Games: Mockingjay (Part 1) and it was pretty good. It felt quite short though, which was funny because the second Hunger Games movie (Catching Fire) felt very long.

I'm told that the final book of the Hunger Games is actually shorter than the first two books, so it's funny that the final movie is getting split into two.

I don't really like 4. Way too modern and serious style of making the film and excessive gore. I don't really feel like Rambo even fits in the modern world that well. It needs the spirit that the divided world provided and more Trautman.

Because length =/= amount of content.

    Just watched Lucy.

It was good until the last 30 mins. Think they went a bit too far!

Hunger Games Part 3: To Kill a Mockingjay

    It sucked.

Nah, but really, the only good/fun/interesting characters are sober and barely in the movie or dead in real life. The world is more interesting than the story by far, and the best scenes were the people fighting back against the notStormtroopers.

    How I Live Now

Really surprised about it. Thought it would be a basic growing up teenager movie, but ended up with surviving the war.

Really lovely. Beautifully shot and almost got teary at some parts. Liked all the characters.

Yeah, way too far. I think Limitless did a much better job with the same story concept.

Also I have not seen a single Hunger Games movie. Should I see the first two?

Just saw Birdman. It was really funny. Wicked sums it up well, but I just want to add that this is another one you should probably see while its still in theaters. Keaton and Edward Norton are great, and so are the supporting cast. Could be a date movie, depending on the sense of humor of your date.

    great rating/5

I saw Dumb and Dumber To and Foxcatcher. Wanted to wait to post the movie posters but whatever.

Dumb and Dumber To was surprisingly really good! I was worried it would suck seeing how the original was one of my all-time favorite comedies. But i just walked in with low expectations and was pleasently surprised. The jokes were much raunchier and Loyd Christmas was a real dick at some points but it did make me laugh out loud quite a few times.

Now foxcatcher... Man that was a werid one. Steve Carrell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo were all fantastic. Carrell gives his best dramatic performance to date and is easily one of the creepiest characters i've seen in a long while. The movie suffers with it's pacing and it slowly moves at a snail's pace in parts, but it was still a good movie. Very cold, creepy, and haunting!

I'm so glad to hear Dumb and Dumber To isn't bad. The trailer looked bad!
First is good - watch that!

Second is OK, but the actual games in the second is nowhere near as good as the first. Annoyingly so infact.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy again on Blu-Ray the other night. Before that, it was 22 Jump Street on Blu-Ray.

Saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes last night. Those CG apes looked damn good, there was only a few instances where the uncanny valley aspect drew me out of the story.

Bought Guardians of the Galaxy on blu-Ray. 9/10 will watch again. Easily my movie of the year since I don't have high hopes for the hobbit. Only reason it's not 10/10 is the story is a bit hard to follow since I did not read the comics (although I want to now).

The Interview. Bought it from google. It was a good movie with some laughs. I hope studios will realize there is good money in releasing movies digitally on the same day as theaters.

    indeed. was pretty bad.

    40 minutes too long.

music wasn't varied at all. the scene with the two guys on the waterfall was hilarious though. about the only thing I can even remember.
