I've been reading the forum for a couple of weeks, and now i've become a member.
One thing I noticed is everyone seems very polite.There's not much swearing and most of it is "censored" (like f***).
Assuming the vast majority of you are from the US, I wanted to know if people in the US (big generalization, I know) don't swear very much or is it just this forum.

We in the US like to snub our noses at profanity in public and the media, for the better of our youth. But when we go home and close the doors its ok for the younglings to hear us let loose with the racial/religious slurs.

Why would someone swear? no specific reason, i was just wandering. Although I do think that some "dirty" words can't be replaced by "clean" ones.
