http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkTJusZc2-I seriously how the hell do people do stuff like this, I think its pretty cool though.... and if anyone knows where i could find smore that would be neat ;D
I seriously was just watching those for like an hour and a half, i think i need to go out for a bit >_>
I once figured out a little bit of Alex the Kidd on trumpet but it wasn't much and doesn't sound so awesome on brass.
game music is freaking amazing. especially from final fantasy. the composer is so educated and really knows what hes doing. it makes me respect the game a whole lot more. the stuff he comes up with is friggin hard and i can only play some of it
Everything can be turned into musical notes if it has sound. I've worked with a bit on synth but nothing extraordinary. Check out the Mini-Bosses. Every song they do is a game theme, it's crazy.
When I bought my new desk for my computer, I didn't have as much space left in my room.. so my keyboard had to be put into storage. I'm quite sad that I can't use it, but someday I'll dig it out again.
if you guys like video game covers check out this site http://dod.vgmix.com it's a monthly game cover competition. every month a theme is chosen and people submit they're entries. at the end of the month the songs are voted on to decide the winners. my personal favorite is Castlevania Scourge of 1691 by a guy named goat. Check out his website at http://www.powergoat.com. He's amazing. Edit: Also there's http://www.metroidmetal.com, for you metroid fans.
