Returning for the second year, it's the video game character showdown!! Last year was really fun, and hopefully we can have as much success as we did last year. The rules are unchanged from last year, and here they are:
1) Pick 8 video game characters from any game who you want to have in the showdown. When you nominate them, please list the series in which they are from (ex: Sub-Zero, Mortal Kombat). List them even for the obvious ones, it makes my life easier.
2) The characters MUST have originated from video games. This means Darth Vader, Homer Simpson, Spiderman, etc, are not welcome in the tournament. If there is any confusion, Pokémon are welcome.
3) No M.U.G.E.N characters, for the same reason
4) Only one "form" of the character from the series. For example: Toon Link and Link are the same person, as well as Devil Jin/Jin Kazama, Adult Link/Kid Link, etc. If you are still confused, just post and I'll correct you if necessary.
5) The character does NOT have to be a playable character, they can be who ever you want (as long as they are not too obscure)
6) In case of a tie, I'll have the tie breaker vote (for the first few rounds)
The tournament will have 128 characters. Here are my nominations:
