Am I the only one who cried when he learned Les Paul died?

I remember I was in a class at sound recording school. My friend texted to me: "Les Paul died". I had to run to the bathroom like a little girl. Except I was a 19 year old male lol.

Without this guy, music might not have been what it is today.
He invented the electric guitar DUDE!

Yet I play bass. When I'll get my hands on a Gibson Les Paul bass... Oh man,you better run.
