I bought my mom some nice flowers. I wanted to take her out for dinner but she's Italian so I know she'll have four pots on the stove and something in the oven as I walk into her house.

Got my mom a card, but it's a really nice one.

Had to help the kids make something for my ex .. kind of made it a bitter mothers day for me this year.

LDS Mother's Days are great. The kids make gifts and the youth groups provide flowers and stuff.

Made delicious pork burritos for my wife and took care of the kids all day so she could nap and read a book.

Since my mom is no longer alive, I thought about her this morning and looked at old photos.

Yesterday my mom and I went to visit my grandparents and had dinner and today my mom and I went to outback. When it comes to celebrating my mom is simple: staying home, taking a nap and watching cosby show episodes thru Netflix is good enough for her

I got a new ceiling fan/light for my mom's living room, then went over there and installed it. And then had a cookout with the rest of the family.

Cookout with the family and the closest relatives at my grandmothers place. Grilled food is damn great.
