I ended up pulling out my friends old genesis to play it last time I was there. The thing is, controller port 1 won't go right (when you push right on the d-pad.) At first I thought it was the controller, but I tried the controller in port 2 and it worked fine, I even tried another controller...still nothing. Can anyone give me any advise on how to fix a genesis controller port, or if anyone has come across this before.
well, you can send it on to sega themselves and have them fix it for $45 plus shipping, and http://www.thegametrader.com will do it for $20. of course, you can always order the part and do it yourself.
