Horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination) will voice Zoom in season two of The Flash.
Earlier this year, there were plans for an Agents of SHIELD spin-off series staring Adrianne Palicki (Bobbi Morse a.k.a Mockingbird) and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter,) but ultimately, it was scrapped. Well apparently, the project was resurrected and a pilot episode has been ordered for the show, which will be called Marvel's Most Wanted.

If given the chance, Nathan Fillion thinks he'd be a fit for a certain DC comics character: "I think I could take a pretty good crack at Booster Gold. That’s kind of my niche… show-offy, vain. I think I could handle that… not too bright."

Lea Seydoux (Inglourious Basterds, Spectre) has been offered the role of Bella Donna Boudreaux in Gambit, should she wish to accept it.
It looks like Blob will be making an appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse. Rather than be portrayed by an actor in a fat suit like in Wolverine: Origins, this Blob will seemingly be played by a 540 lb French Canadian man, or as one set visitor put it, "one solid big fat guy!".
Josh Brolin was asked which Avenger he's most looking forward to going up against as Thanos: "I don’t have a favorite because it’s me against all of them, I think the entirety is what I’m most looking forward to. Each and every one. I’m bringing the wrath." I remember totally marking out to his scene in Guardians.

The trio springs into action! Falcon leaps off a building and spreads his wings. Widow runs and flips through the market with grace and precision.
Cap finds Crossbones standing in the center of the market, and they engage in combat. Crossbones blames Cap for his face, after which his masked is knocked off. He says something about Bucky that catches Cap's attention.
General Ross begins a narration about the "unpayable debt" owed to Captain America, of which during we see shots of the different Avengers.
Tony Stark quips about wanting to punch Cap in his "perfect teeth."

There hasn't been much news over the last couple of weeks, so here's all I got.

Producer Simon Kinberg says that everything going forward from X-Men: Days of Future Past will become the new film canon and Gambit and Deadpool will exist in the same universe, even if there may be no crossover.
Kinberg then goes nonsensical and contradictory in the course of one sentence regarding the appearance of the titular villain in X-Men: Apocalypse. "Once we made the decision for Apocalypse to be the villain at the center of the movie, we wanted to be true to the comics, which are sort of, like you, say, not costume, but it’s not just a guy in a helmet. It is more cosmic."
The way I read that, you could go back to last decade, replace the word Apocalypse with Galactus and now you're talking about FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Deadpool tries to connect with Negasonic Teenage Warhead by reading Judy Bloom.
Just last year, Chris Evans was saying he was going to take a break from acting once his current Marvel contract was up, but now he's saying he'll stick around as long as Marvel wants him.
Rachel McAdams (True Detective, Southpaw) will be joining Doctor Strange, reportedly in a lead role. My guess is maybe Clea, but I'll post it here as soon as it's known.

ABC and Marvel and developing and half-hour comedy sitcom based on Damage Control. Early synopsis: 'The Marvel cleaning crew specializes in dealing with the aftermath of the unique fallout from super hero conflicts. They are the ones who are in charge of returning lost ray guns to their rightful owners, help to reschedule a wedding venue after it has been vaporized in a super hero battle or even track down a missing prize African parrot that’s been turned to stone or goo. Sometimes the most important super heroes are the ones behind the scenes.' I'm sure I'll be curious enough to check this out, but please oh please make it a stand-alone and not part of the overall Marvel Cinematic universe.

Seth Grahame-Smith will make his directing debut with The Flash, Grahame-Smith has been a writer for past and upcoming films like Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Beetlejuice 2 and The Lego Batman Movie.
While not indicative of the final product, early drafts of the Wonder Woman script have the film taking place over three distinct time periods:
The first setting will be in the somewhat distant past on Themyscira, the idyllic island of Wonder Woman's birth.
The second period is World War I, specifically in 1916, which places it right in the middle of that conflict.
The movie would then move to the modern day, where it will tie into the events of Justice League Part One, out at the end of 2017.
While that does sound intriguing and could give Wonder Woman a kind of Captain America feel, all is subject to change between now and the film's release on June 23, 2017.
The Guillermo del Toro project called Justice League Dark has been moved from the back burner at Warner Bros to a priority. Del Toro won't be directing, but he will remain on as a producer. The film will exist in the developing DC Cinematic Universe, but will mostly operate separately, kind of like Guardians in the Marvel Universe, although seeds will planted for future potential cross-overs or appearances. The early synopsis for the film will "involve a series of ancient tomes stolen by a madman hellbent on the destruction of humanity. When he learns of this, occult detective John Constantine seeks out a group of heroes that specialize in the mystic and arcane in order to save the world." While the rest of that group are still unnamed, Del Toro had previously mentioned Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan The Demon as likely members of the team. Production is scheduled to begin in 2016. This film definitely had my attention.

Reportedly, Warner Bros is wanting to bring Booster Gold and Blue Beetle to the big screen in what is being pitched as a 'superhero buddy cop movie,' with Arrow and The Flash writer/producer Greg Berlanti set to direct and executive produce. The film would have an emphasis on comedy as WB wants their own Guardians/Ant-Man film. If this pans out to be true, I will be really excited for it. It's become cliche now to toss his name into superhero casting, but Nathan Fillion has already said Booster Gold is the one comic character he wants to play. I say cast him and complete the film by casting Alan Tudyk as Blue Beetle.

Taika Waititi (co-director of vampire mockumentary What We Do In The Shadows) is in final negotiations to direct Thor: Ragnarok.

Some leaked Japanese promo images for Captain America: Civil War have shown up online, among them looks at Black Panther, War Machine, and the new Ant-Man costume.
Marvel announced that Scott Lang will return alongside Hope Van Dyne on July 6, 2018 in the sequel film called Ant-Man And The Wasp. Sweet. Also, the release dates for Black Panther and Captain Marvel have been shifted to February 16, 2018 and March 8, 2019, respectively. Finally, there are three untitled Marvel films that are set to premiere on May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020. No word on what those three films are yet, so let the speculation commence. I expect they'll all be sequel films, with at least one being a third Guardians film.

Alright guys, here's what I've gathered for you over the past couple of weeks.
The horror comic Hack/Slash is being developed into a television show. No world yet on what channel it may be on, but they're aiming to give it a Walking Dead vibe.
There was an effort to adapt Y: The Last Man into a film a few years ago, but the project fell apart and was shelved. But now, FX is moving forward to develop the comic into a TV show for that channel.
In 1992, Paul Reubens (aka Pee Wee Herman) had a small role in Tim Burton's Batman Returns as the father of Danny DeVito's Penguin. In a neat bit of casting, he'll appear on Gotham to play the father of Robin Lord Taylor's Penguin.
It'd been so long since I'd heard anything about the show Krypton in development for Syfy (almost a year) that I thought maybe they dropped the project. But the show is still moving forward and is said to follow "Kal-El's grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest superhero ever known." It is supposed to be tied into the DC Cinematic Universe, but will take place 200 years before Man of Steel.
Two new shows with ties to the X-Men side of the Marvel Universe are going to be moving into development. The first will be called Legion. Legion will focus on David Haller, who has struggled with mental illness ever since he was a teenager. "Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real." In the comics, Haller was Charles Xavier's son. No word on if they'll play up that angle. Legion will air on FX.
The other show is Hellfire. This show will be set in the 1960's and follow "a young Special Agent who learns that a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities is working with a clandestine society of millionaires – known as “The Hellfire Clubâ€

I wanted to report in with news of the first casting for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
Pom Klementieff (Oldboy) has been cast as Mantis! She rarely pops up in the comics these days, but I enjoyed her run with the Guardians post Annihilation. Since James Gunn is bringing in Mantis, I wonder if we'll see Bug as well.

Just a short update because a) there hasn't been a lot of news over the last couple of weeks, and b) it's cutting into my Fallout 4 time.
Here's the first trailer for AMC's Preacher.
I have yet to read the comics but this will be news to those of you who have: Jeffery Dean Morgan (Watchmen, Magic City) will appear on The Walking Dead as Negan.
Since nothing is official on this next part yet, I'll go ahead and preface it with the banner of RUMOR:
Jessica Jones has started on Netflix and it's awesome. Luke Cage is still set to debut next year. But word is, there's trouble with figuring out a good take on the Iron Fist series that's supposed to follow Luke Cage. Apparently all the scripts and story ideas being turned in are being rejected. An idea being proposed is that rather than do a full series, do a two hour Iron Fist movie for Netflix. And since Marvel still owes Netflix a show, it's being suggested that they may do a Punisher series instead. Nothing against Danny Rand, but if all this ends up being true, I think a Punisher show spun off from Daredevil would be a better choice.
The Justice League Dark film that will focus on the more supernatural aspect of the DC Universe now has an official name: Dark Universe.
X-Men: Apocalypse doesn't release until May, but apparently a follow up X-Men movie is already slated to begin production in 2017. Fox has some untitled place holder release dates set for 2018 so this film will likely fall into one of those.
Evan Peters said the movie will have another Quicksilver sequence like in Day of Future Past that's "bigger, longer, and more detailed". He says that the new sequence took 22 days to film.
The first trailers for both Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse are supposed to debut in theaters before Star Wars Episode VII.

Jessica Jones has started on Netflix and it's awesome. Luke Cage is still set to debut next year. But word is, there's trouble with figuring out a good take on the Iron Fist series that's supposed to follow Luke Cage. Apparently all the scripts and story ideas being turned in are being rejected. An idea being proposed is that rather than do a full series, do a two hour Iron Fist movie for Netflix. And since Marvel still owes Netflix a show, it's being suggested that they may do a Punisher series instead. Nothing against Danny Rand, but if all this ends up being true, I think a Punisher show spun off from Daredevil would be a better choice.
The Justice League Dark film that will focus on the more supernatural aspect of the DC Universe now has an official name: Dark Universe.

Damn! I wasn't expecting this to drop until Star Wars came out. I'm betting it's Marvel wanting to have thier trailer out before Fox has theirs out for X-Men: Apocalypse.
That was a pretty good first taste. I like how they kept the primary focus of this trialer on Cap. You see quick shots of some of the others, but not enough to make it feel like Avengers 2.5. At least not yet. I felt bad for Tony though: "So was I...".
