Protector: Resurgence for the Atari Jaguar CD! It's an expansion to Protector: Special Edition, which is required in order to play.

This wouldn't be the first time that dead systems have been given this kind of treatment by official companies. Midway released Total Carnage for the Atari Jaguar back in 2004 to coincide with their release of Midway Arcade Treasures 2, and SNK also released SNK vs. Capcom: SvC Chaos for the Neo Geo AES that same year. Square-Enix has also had reprints of Final Fantasies VII, VIII, IX, and Origins for PS1 up until 2010.

This is the kind of gaming news that should be focused on instead of continuously catering to the Call of Duty crowd.

What? And don't even provide a source of a blog entry that was promoted to the front page of GR. That's not GR's opinion, that's a user's opinion. Which it was written well enough for GR to share.
