Awesome Games Done Quick 2014

It starts tomorrow fellas. What this is, is a week long marathon of people speedrunning video games for charity (Prevent Cancer Foundation). Some of the stuff I've seen in the past is quite amazing for a worthy cause. I know MattAY, Affen and hopefully Sightless will be watching some of it. Might we have a Skype party one day while we watch runners performing?

For me the interesting ones are the classics and from new games I would suggest half life 2 and the portal games. You'd never expect how broken they can be.

I was actually thinking about starting a thread where we all list the games that we completed in 2014 and continually update the list throughout the year, but I'm not really that motivated.

If you're upset about this thread being nothing you thought it was, quit bitching. I'm posting it, because it's an event of gamers helping the world. Speed running games may not be fascinating to you, but they're cool to me. A lot of people see glitches that were discovered accidentally, but some them helps speed up time. I'm not asking you to donate, I'm not asking for you to watch. I'm simply informing you guys of this once again.

Glitches are all speed runs are, as far as I've seen. Like 99% of it is about glitching the game.
