Half-Life 2 was incredible. I'm not trying to tell you that you are wrong, but the only problem with pacing that I see is the release of each episode of HL2. :evil:

And they usually are pretty terrible as a port compared to the original PC version. Half-Life 2 for Xbox was hideous. Though, I know they are getting better with 360/PS3 ports, imagine that you have a PC that ran about $500-600. Obviously, there is so much more that you could do with a decent...

Halo makes for fun parties. Not everyone has a PC that they can bring over for a LAN party, but everyone had an Xbox. As for the game itself, it was pretty overrated, but definitely a fun party game right next to rounds of SSBM.

I'd agree with MugenKraig, game endings that are anti-climatic really hurt our feelings. Unexpected and unexplained short endings would be more precise, though. It makes sense in a game like Halo, because you know there will be a sequel, but FF7? There are lots of other games to mention, but...

You can only go so far with a video game franchise before everyone and their mother is sick of hearing about the upcoming sequels. Remember the Army Men series? It was cute for a while.

Kingdom Hearts 2 had some ridiculously easy bosses. Even on the laughable proud mode.

Nintendo had far more RPGs and an enormous library of great games. NES and SNES both. Sega had quite a few memorable games, but nothing compared to any Final Fantasy, the first Legend of Zelda and a Link Through Time, and many, many others. Sega had a pretty rad D&D game. Land of the Eternal...

The very first few games that I remember sucking me into the realm of gaming for as long as I live have been Heavy Barrel, XEXYZ, the Legend of Zelda, and Final Fantasy. Ah, freaking Xenophobe.
