Well, Silent Hill had its fair share as well.

I can name a few: Viva Pinata, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Myst (a rather old PC game, but really fun), Intelligent Cube (really old, but so great). Those are only a few.

All I am saying, is that people won't do that. I would, but the majority of the people on these games would rather just ban you. AND THEY DO. So, hey, use tactics, GET BANNED. It's not how I want it, but that's how it is.

Why? Well, firstly, I agree with you. But, the main reason, which is actually very pathetic, is that most people on these FPSes are extremist noobs. They would rather bum rush than use tactics, and they think YOU'RE the noob when you do the latter. So, rather than using tactics all the time...

I will admit this is true, but Silent Hill 1 was a lot of walking around, rather than actual scares. Silent Hill 2 much exceeds the horror of Silent Hill 1, while Resident Evil 1 just seems more fun than Silent Hill 1. I'm still a bigger fan of the Silent Hill series, but I still have to vote...

This one makes me laugh a bit.

Rainbow Six: Vegas. I got to the part where you had to extract the info from the hub, etc., and my 360 scratched the disk up and ruined it. I think I was being a dumb ass and I moved the console while it was loading the game.

Well, it's a matter of perspective. If you do it the whole time, it's cheap, and makes you look like a noob. (ESPECIALLY on Counter Strike: Source) But, if you do it every now and then, to get a couple of kills in, but you still tend to variate what you do, it becomes a useful technique.
