Highly recommend Life is Strange. Cool story.
Anyone played Killing Floor 2? Any good?
Looks like Until Dawn is coming in a week. Woohoo!
They usually make the announcements Wednesdays, and they did, but I was doing my 24hr stream for Extra Life and couldn't post the information. Anyways, here's the announced games coming to the PS Plus users in July
Until Dawn, PS4
Game of Thrones, PS4
Tokyo Jungle, PS3
Darkstalkers Resurrection, PS3
Element4l, PS Vita
Don’t Die, Mr. Robot, PS Vita (Cross Buy on PS4)
I bought Until Dawn full price like a mong. Still haven't finished it!
Game of Thrones maybe, but I've heard mixed things about that game. Mainly because people compare it to the Walking Dead which they probably shouldn't do!
The games coming to PS Plus in August has been announced. Here they are
Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry (PS4)
Just Cause 3 (PS4)
Super Motherload (PS4, PS3)
Downwell (PS4, PS Vita)
Level 22 (PS Vita)
That's actually a pretty good list, and I don't have any of them.
Super Motherload sounds really fun and interesting.
I've heard Just Cause 3 is a lot of fun too.
Seeing clips of people doing stuff with the mechanics in Just Cause 3 is the reason while I will get it.
Just Cause 3 and Freedom Cry....not bad, not bad at all.
Here are this month's titles.
inFamous Second Son (PS4)
Strike Vector Ex (PS4)
Hatoful Boyfriend (PS4, PS Vita)
We Are Doomed (PS4, PS Vita)
RIGS Mechanized Combat League (PSVR)
Truck Racer (PS3)
Handball 2016 (PS3)
Europeans are getting the same titles with an exception of Strike Vector Ex, they'll be receiving Child of Light.
Haha Child of Light rules - gutted lads
Well I've got inFamous already, and haven't even heard of the other games on that list (Handball 2016?!...REALLY!?) - so I'm out!
Oh wow didn't even know there was this thread. I'll try contribute in the future with Asia/HK/TW region free games, since there are usually some differences which could be interesting. For example, we got the pigeon dating sim(huh?) last month already I think.
Replaying Second Son right now, great game and the dlc was solid as well.
I'd love to see a new Infamous title come out soon
I enjoyed Infamous: Second Son for its story and the vivid colors. I couldn't finish Infamous when I got my PS3. It's not the best PS4 game, but having this available for Plus users after the standalone title makes sense marketing wise to me. No doubt they were trying to get more people to purchase the game if they haven't already.
That's a wonderful idea. Many times a months there are games on PSN free for members that are extra. I unfortunately don't catch those often. I primarily wait for PSLS to make their article and I just copy the source. This usually happens last week of the month on a Wednesday afternoon.
Here are the Asia (HK & Taiwan at least) free games for September:
inFAMOUS Second Son (PS4)
BOUND: Shattered Kingdom (PS4)
DEEMO~The Last Recital~ (Vita)
RIGS Mechanized Combat League (PSVR)
TOKYO JUNGLE (PS3)
Anybody played Tokyo Jungle before? Sounds absurd as a game idea, and also no idea how it plays (the mechanics)!
Current games sale has Destiny 1 for 10 bucks (equivalent), and Far Cry Primal for $7, just for laughs.

October's list of Playstation Plus has come out.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Monster Jam Battlegrounds
Hue (cross buy with PS4)
Sky Force Anniversary (cross buy with PS4 and PS3)
Nothing too interesting, except MGSV.
MGSV won GameRevolution's Game of the Year for 2015. I don't think it's quite... Game of the Year material, due to its repetitive mission structure, incoherent story/downward spiral second half, micro-transactions, forced base invasion and long arse wait times for building/developing things, but to begin with it's actually quite a fun game that runs superbly well on the PS4.
MGS5 starts off so well! But then mellows out as you described. It's honestly a disappointment, and you can see why Kojima wanted to work more on it.
It is a good game for free though - a belter!
I might grab the amnesia collection, but I've seen both full length walkthroughs on Youtube so not sure on this one.
I don't know. Despite the repetitive mission structure, the game play of MGSV was just so SO good it made it one of the most fun games I have ever played. All the wacky things you can do with various items, the many different methods of infiltrating a base, and the simple joy of fultoning tanks with enemy troops inside them just made me love the game. This is an awesome game to have as a freebie for PS+. This also means there may soon be some low level FOB's that I have a chance in hell of infiltrating if I were to go back to it.
The troops were really smart in that game. I had a ton of fun thinking through creative base attacks. Compared to something like Just Cause 3, the mechanics and AI are better hands down.
MGSV has a consequent life (30 main missionary hours and more than 150 missions)
