I'd rather try somtheing of sennheiser - they are pretty good at making something that you will use for at least couple yers without problems.

I wouldn't trust anything like that, but to each their own.

May we please stop necro-posting.It's been almost a year and the OP probably bought a new headset. Besides ryhaz, OP wanted a headset, not headphones.

I just have to say I'm so glad I don't need a headset anymore. Having your own place allows me to blast excellent speakers. I don't think I've used a headset in over 5 years.

I still wear headset/headphones due to me streaming. That way my mic doesn't pick up game audio. That being said, I use these headphones and they're amazing for its price

People like the sound of my mic and told me I could be a radio personality. I've been using this uni-directional modmic.

Together they make a great headset. The quality of the mic I feel is on par with a Blue Yeti mic.

I use a headset when ever I play on my PC and honestly, that's purely out of habit.

I have a Logitech USB wireless headset, which I use on both my PC and PS4. I'll only use the headset on the PS4 when I'm chatting with the microphone, otherwise I don't wear it.

I found the best option is to get a nice set of headphones and then buy a nice mic for voice chat. My last mic broke, but I am thinking of getting the antlion modmic.

My current headphones are Sennheiser HD 598s, running through a headphone amplifier.

I decided to go through with this and it was an excellent decision. Well, actually I brought it for Bridge Crew, but I didn't realize that the Vive had a build-in mic at the time so it was a bit of a waste of money. However, the recording quality of this is SO MUCH more better than the one in the Vive that I disable the built in mic and use this one. Comes with little cable holding thingies to keep things nice and tidy as well. Does a good job at only picking up my voice, as well.

I got a HyperX Cloud about three years ago, because it was relatively cheap and had good reviews.
I have since found out it's actually a pretty highly regarded budget headset, since they took a quality pair of headphones and added a mic to them.

So I got a second one when the first one broke. Because it was still stupidly cheap.
