On a side note... De-Ting, I would like to read chapter 2 of your story so far, but I'm not very good at critiquing writing as well, writing isn't really my thing. I'm not very good at it.

As for the current De-Ting...

The worst film I've ever sat through was "The Loved Ones", an Australian horror film that was essentially made purely for shock value. It's a really disgusting movie where a boy is kidnapped by a crazy girl, and she tortures him violently, because she "loves" him. That's pretty much it.

Why we sat through it? I don't know why, we just did. We managed to stomach it and watch it until the end.

My mom had the remote and at the time there was only one TV in the house. It's the reason why I don't like "Dancing Queen" by Abba Abba due to the song playing every couple scenes.

I've seen a lot of movies....a lot..... so many that it's hard to pick just one. And there's so many different types of bad movies: like Longo pointed out there's post-2009 Adam Sandler movies, chick flicks, Michael 'Spolsion Bay, Put Shia in it, So Bad it's Good, Even More Found Footage Horror, torture porn, comedy sequels nobody asked for, etc etc etc

But if I had to pick one..... just one...

It would be.

I saw this as a young child and I remember hating it. And I was a pretty easy kid to fool when it came to bad movies. I loved Street Fighter, I loved TMNT 2, I just loved seeing my favorite things on the big screen. But Super Mario?? I actually left the theater so disappointed I was depressed. Yes this film resulted in depression for one of the happiest kids alive.

Let's also remember this is the first movie based on a video game. This movie set the trend for video games to be adapted into shitty movies. Hollywood execs would now sink their greedy teeth into the video game industry to produce films that were so bad they would eventually be given to Uwe Boll.

Fuck you super Mario Bros movie. Fuck you!

First of all I read your second chapter - sorry the critique is a little late:

It's good! the "flow" is nice, and I read through getting enough information for the imagination to work!
Nice story too. The whole all boys seldom girls school thing reminds me of a manga I used to read called "Prison School" (or Kangoku Gakuen) which is the other way around ie. all girls seldom boys. But the point is I found it interesting, partly for the romance aspects (not sure if romance comes into yours but I like the mystery that it COULD happen), along with the "stronger" characters that basically dont take the piss out of the one left out (in this case Atlan).

The only thing I dont like it the way Atlan speaks in the script. I know the way he speaks is an important part of the story, but that "flow" you had gets lost when Atlan speaks! I get to his speech and I have to double-check the words. I think 'does he mean this word?' And that thought breaks the story a little.
And it's probably me being a bit of a numpty, but if you can perhaps make his broken english a TAD less broken so it's still smooth to read it'd be better I feel!

Apart from that - SOLID!

To be fair, it's not the worst movie I've ever seen, but it's the worst in recent memory. I didn't even know Guardians of the Galaxy was a thing until the movie. Everyone hyped it up so much and I didn't see it myself until last week. None of it stuck out to me, the comedy fell flat, every single character is a complete idiot...I don't know. Not trying to start anything, I just didn't like it.

1, his name is "Atlin," and 2, that's good to know. He only talks like that for one chapter, but maybe I can find a way to make what he's saying more legible. However, it's going to trip you up no matter what I do. That's speech impediments for ya. If you don't like it, wait for the books on tape. Thanks for the feedback!
