Excellent post! I have always enjoyed using video games as an escape, which I still do to this day. Along the same lines as reading a book or watching a movie, games are exceptionally good at pulling you out of this world and plunging you head first into where ever you wish to go. I'm heading...

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Gaming has been a big part of my life, and it will continue to be. My son is playing the same games that I used to play when I was little. His favorite game of all time, so far, is the original Command and Conquer. Good memories!

I'm all over the place with what I play. I've been on a nostalgia kick and have been playing a lot of Doom, Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and...Far Cry 3/Blood Dragon. I can't get enough of the cheesy 80s goodness. It is glorious.

I've been scouring the internet for information on it. The couple reviews I've seen have been mediocre at best. Good graphics, solid sniping, interesting things to find, but technical issues, bland story, and filler content. I don't know. I feel like I'm way too conflicted on this one right...

I like to keep my games seperate from real life. If you've ever seen someone get shot with a high powered rifle, you know what I mean. Let the games be games.
